About us
Helen’s Community Development Foundation (HCDF) began its journey as Helen’s Foundation, officially registered with the Kogi State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development on October 7, 2022. Following its incorporation with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) on March 14, 2023, the organization adopted its current name — Helen’s Community Development Foundation (HCDF).
HCDF is a growing non-profit organization dedicated to delivering humanitarian services and community development initiatives aimed at improving the lives of vulnerable individuals and groups. The foundation is committed to fostering positive social change, promoting empowerment, and creating opportunities for inclusive growth within communities.
Mission Statement
At Helen’s Community Development Foundation (HCDF), our mission is to create awareness and provide vital information on health care and good governance for underserved rural communities, ensuring no one is left behind regardless of their background.
We are committed to supporting education by providing school fees and learning materials to out-of-school children, believing that education is the foundation of a brighter future.
We also strive to empower and uplift vulnerable women and children, enhancing their socio-economic well-being and enabling them to lead productive, independent lives.
